OUTINGS

Please check the Diary page for further information on dates and venues.
General Outings Information
We aim to run 3 outings a year (most of which are subsidised)
Any member can go on the outings organised by REASH
Guests are welcome to join us when there are surplus places
but guests will not be entitled to receive any subsidy
We look forward to seeing you on a future outing
All outings are organised by Pauline Cadwell
who can be contacted at (outings@reash.uk)
2026 Outings
The first outing for 2026 will be to Hatfield House on Thursday 11th June.
As Hatfield House is local and to keep costs down,
members will make their own way to Hatfield House.
We'll meet in the car park and then enjoy a Group Guided Tour
of the house after which, we can have some lunch
before exploring the gardens at our leisure.
There are a number of on-site shops for us to browse
and in which we can spend our "hard earned pensions".
The cost of the day is £25 for REASH members and £29 for guests.
There's still room for more to join us.
If interested please contact Pauline promptly (outings@reash.uk)
If you have any questions or would like to attend any of the Outings
please email us by clicking the link at the bottom of the page or by emailing Pauline at the address above.

Outings during 2025
Saturday 10th May - Boom, Bang-a-Bang musical at Brick Lane Theatre
22 of us attended the above musical
which was preceded by an excellent lunch at the theatre.
The cost for members was subsidised to £55
Guests had to pay the full cost of £75 but it was well worth it.
Friday 19th September - Ramsgate Tunnels & some sea air.
We went by coach to Ramsgate where we had a very interesting tour of the tunnels. The volunteers made everything come alive with their very knowledgeable commentary.
When we emerged from the tunnels the sun was shining brightly and we were able to spend the rest of the afternoon strolling along the prom and relaxing in the sea air.
Saturday 6th December - Rochester Dickensian Festival & Parades
The coach picked us up at our usual places in Hemel and Hatfield to take
us to Rochester where we enjoyed the very popular Dickensian Festival.
It was very crowded but we were able to view
the many volunteers all dressed in Dickensian Costumes.
During the day there were parades and carol singing as well as many seasonal stalls selling Mulled Wine, Festive Goodies and various other crafts. The day ended with a Candlelit Parade
just before we left to make our journey home.
